Steady is a fictional banking app designed to challenge feature-heavy neobanks.
Instead of adding more tools, the product focuses on clarity, trust, and reducing cognitive load in everyday banking tasks.
Modern banking apps often create stress instead of control:
too many features and unclear interfaces
poor communication when issues occur
lack of transparency in transactions
Users often feel confused and anxious, especially when something goes wrong.
Steady is designed starting from user pain points, not features.
The approach focuses on:
reducing cognitive load
preventing issues before they happen
making support always visible
The home screen shows only essential information:
balance as a clear primary element
actions as large, readable cards
To reduce uncertainty, the app introduces Expected Transfers, allowing users to anticipate incoming payments instead of reacting to issues.
Support is also integrated directly into the main interface, with instant access to human help.
The interface prioritizes clarity and immediate understanding.

The home screen removes unnecessary elements and focuses on essential actions and information.

Key features such as expected transactions and instant support reduce uncertainty and improve user confidence.
This project explores how removing complexity, rather than adding features, can improve trust and usability in financial products.
